I travelled across country to pick up my puppy Ben

Alright, please listen to my story… I journeyed across the country to collect my puppy Ben, a bullmastiff. I was fully aware that he would grow to be large, and I conducted thorough research on the weight, size, and dimensions of typical puppy sizes. I consulted with the breeder, received updates on his weight, and purchased a pet carrier that I believed would accommodate him.

Well, he turned out to be incredibly large, and he barely fit into the carrier! According to airline regulations, the puppy must be able to stand up and turn around.

At 10 weeks old, he could indeed turn around and lie down, but he was unable to stand up completely. The good news is that the airline permitted us to board, and Ben traveled exceptionally well!

The carrier did fit under the seat in front of me as advertised, which was a pleasant surprise. Although it is somewhat flimsy, we are not frequent travelers, and I was aware that I would only use it once for this journey from point A to point B. In any case, it served its purpose, and since we do not plan to fly again, the carrier fulfilled its role!
