The seat is really soft, your dog sinks right into it. That's why the sizes are approximate: I measured them by hand, so a few centimetres difference is possible.

How to install a dog seat in a car

The strap goes around the headrest, horizontally or vertically, whichever fits your car better. Then you pull the car seat belt through. At the bottom there is a sewn-on anchor: push it into the gap between the backrest and the seat, so the dog seat doesn't slide.
