The Miravia is a rectangular soft-sided travel bag measuring 55 x 40 x 23 cm. This size falls within the maximum cabin dimensions published by Brussels Airlines.
Three curtains (two on the sides, one on top) help calm your pet and protect against rain and wind. The rectangular shape makes full use of the space under the seat in front of you.

Brussels Airlines allows 8 kg total for pet and bag combined. The Miravia weighs 1.95 kg. That leaves room for cats and small dogs up to about 6.05 kg.

If your pet sees the travel bag for the first time at the airport, that means stress for both of you.
Set up the Miravia open in your home a week or two before the flight. Add a familiar blanket and, now and then, a treat. Most cats and dogs end up napping in it on their own. By travel day, the bag already smells like home.

This list is based on the roughly 6.05 kg weight allowance. Snub-nosed breeds (French Bulldog, Pug, Persian) may only travel in the cabin with Brussels Airlines, with an extra signed form. Always weigh and measure your own pet.
